Forestry Mulching
Forestry mulching is the process of grinding trees, brush, and other woody vegetation into mulch. This offers many advantages over traditional "stripping" of the land because the mulch decomposes and provides nutrients back into the soil. The process also leaves the root systems of the cleared vegetation in place which prevents erosion until the new grass or ground cover can become established. Mulching prevents the need for burning brush and trees which leave piles of ashes you have to deal with later while also not enhancing your soil. Mulching has proven to be more environmentally friendly and generally leaves a nicer finished product.
Homesites
One of our most requested service is preparing homesites from "raw" land. We provide both mulching and stripping of land for this service depending on what types and sizes of trees that need to be removed, and the type of foundation that will be used for your home. We clear right of ways for septic lines, electrical, water, and gas service lines, and driveways. We can also build your house pad using state of the art laser leveling equipment so that your contractor will have the perfect surface to build your foundation on.
Land Clearing/ Brush Control
Let us reclaim your neglected pasture or forest from brush encroachment. We can efficiently clear mesquite, yaupon, briar, and other dense brush for more grazing area and a healthier forest. We also offer replanting options as well as herbicide application to prevent brush from returning. We remove dead trees, clear fence lines, and manage existing structures such as pond dams, retention basins, and culvert/stormwater drains.
Wildfire Mitigation
We provide clearing for fire breaks, general fuel reduction, buffers from structures, and equipment access to both mitigate fires and fight wildfires.
Right of Way/ Fence Rows
We can quickly clear your fence rows for repairing and reinstalling fences as well as building new fences. We also maintain and clear right-of-ways for utility easements and roads through both mechanical and chemical methods.
Wildlife Habitat/ Hunting Access
We have many years of experience in managing wildlife habitat for increasing sustainability for wildlife as well as clearing shooting lanes and woody areas for food plots.
